Attendance Policy Change:

On May 22, 2019, the Board of Education voted in a changed attendance policy. The link to the entire policy can be found here: https://simbli.eboardsolutions.com/Meetings/Attachment.aspx…

The biggest change in this policy is that students can only miss seven days per semester instead of ten. Those seven days will be counted excused if students turn in parent or doctor's notes. All notes can be parent notes, doctor notes, or a mix of the two. Students have three days to turn in an excuse. Absence codes will not be retroactively changed if you turn in an excuse two weeks after an absence.

Please keep this change in mind as you schedule doctor's appointments, etc. Planning a vacation during school is highly discouraged because of this policy change. Prior approvals will be very limited and will only be used in case of an emergency; click the link for more information. As a reminder, any absence granted prior approval still counts as one of the seven allowed absences.

Congratulations to our HHS Softball State Champions! We are so proud of each of our softball girls!
GO WILDCATS!
